Marine Memorial Tournament 2025
Marine Memorial Golf Course, situated within Camp Pendleton, California, is a distinguished 18-hole, par-72 championship course designed by renowned architect William P. “Billy” Bell. Opened in 1948 as Windmill Canyon Golf Course, it spans 6,865 yards and is celebrated for its strategic bunker placements, rolling fairways, and integration into the natural landscape of Windmill Canyon. The course not only offers a challenging experience for golfers of all skill levels but also honors U.S. Marine Corps history, with each hole commemorating significant battles and events in Marine Corps lore.
The course underwent a significant restoration to return it to its original design, with enhancements such as reshaped bunkers and improved sand quality, restoring its "Golden Era of Golf" ambiance. Beyond its design, Marine Memorial Golf Course has hosted numerous prestigious events, including All-Armed Forces Golf Championships and Southern California Military League tournaments. Accessible to the public through a base access application, the course provides a full-service experience with amenities like a grass driving range, practice putting green, chipping areas, and a clubhouse featuring a pro shop and dining options.
